Carb Spacer On Boat. i am wondering if anyone has ever used a carb spacer for their rochester carb on their mercruiser. hi guys, on my build when the boat level the 2bbl mercarb is at 12 degrees and i sure it will increase when the boat is in the water,should i get an angled spacer to level up the carb or can they handle this angle. a spacer is much like a high flow air filter for cars, adding a few hp but only at the top rpm's. I'm looking more toward keeping the carb cooler as opposed to just. my question is will a carb spacer assist in improving idle? would a carb spacer do any good on a boat?
